Going into 2019

As resolutions are being made and goals being written, I've realized my life is full of unnecessary things. The house is FULL of stuff. So I have decided to purge my life, simplify if you will. I am beginning to believe part of my stress comes from the abundance of items that need to be put away, organized, or cluttering areas.

I am a pack rat. My mentality is, "I may need this someday and I don't want to have to buy it again." Each closet is full. The spare bedroom has become a catch all. So I am spending a couple of days purging the house. Getting rid of any and all things that I haven't used in over a year

I'm being intentional, looking back at the things that I loved from 2018. These things are moving with me into the new year. This is the time of year when most people re-evaluate the things in their life, but I have never done so. Everything just stayed and accumulated, until now.

Since I spent time evaluating everything, I decided to share with you my faves which I can not live without. I made it easy, you can click pics to find items.

Hair Products

Keratin Complex

I have very frizzy hair. A hair stylist from Visible Changes recommended it and I loved it. I have used it everyday for the past 2 years. It leaves my hair soft and manageable after my flat iron.

Klorane Dry Shampoo

I'll be honest, I was not a big fan of dry shampoo. My hair gets greasy real fast and looks limp (yes, even with the frizz). I finally found one that works for my hair type. I tried many and had all the cans to show for it. I finally threw them all out and am sticking to the one that works.

Face Stuff

Nars Eyeshadow in Andromeda

This was a fun find while shopping at Marshall's one day. I always run out of the highlight color in palettes first. I had bought one before, but it wasn't anything to wow about. So when I ran into this at Marshall's, it was fate.

Tatcha Water Cream

I began to hear about this day cream in IG from some influencers. I saw the price and said, "No thanks" until my daughter then began to beg for it. She's 13, she does not need it. We were in Sephora one day and she asked for a sample. The sales woman placed placed two in the bag so I could try also. I tried. I fell in love. I have an oily T zone. This is great for under foundation or tinted moisturizer without making your face super oily.

Lash Boost

Full disclosure. I am a Rodan and Fields consultant. I began to sell R+F because I was using the Lash Boost and fell in love. I had wimpy lashes and now, my lashes look longer and fuller. If I was going to promote them the way I was, I might as well make some money while doing it.

Life Items

Joggers

If I could I would live in joggers everyday I would. As much as I love fashion, I love comfort too. I found these on Amazon. They weren't expensive so I decided to give them a try. Best purchase ever.

S'well Water Bottle

I'm working on getting all my 70 oz. of water in daily. I like my water cold and drink through out the day at work. This is a perfect water bottle that keeps my water cold all day. I don't have the one pictured. I got mine from my next favorite thing, Fab Fit Fun!

Fab Fit Fun Subscription Box

Who doesn't like getting surprise gifts four times a year. I get giddy when I see the email my box in on the way. You get about 6 full size products in every box. My daughter has begun trying to steal my items. They are filled with beauty, home, and exercise items. Each box is $49 dollars, but estimated value of each is over $150. I have a code for $10 off the first box if anyone is interested.

So these are my items that will carry me through 2019. What are your faves? I love to hear about new products. That's how I may find my new favorite!
